Compaq Notebooks

The new Compaq Presario V6000 is one of the most modern laptops on the market. Hewlett Packard, their manufacturer, included a 15.4 inch screen, AMD processors Sempron or Dual core Turion x2, and also v6000t Intel processors. Though there have been a few problems with AMD. The fan algorithm in the BIOS was misconfigured causing overheating and damage to the wireless cards and the motherboard. In late 2007 HP extended the limited warranty to cover these defects.

With a very attractive price, this notebook has found it's niche, getting quite a big piece of the notebook market all over the world.
